Welcome!

Greetings to all daylily lovers! What a blessing it is to be part of something as exciting and intriguing as growing these exquisite beauties from seed to glorious clump.
I have only been hybridizing for 4 years but was “bitten” by the hybridizing bug early on, and it is now a huge part of my daily lifestyle.
I remember the excitement of the first season that my own seedlings bloomed. From that point on, I was smitten.

As one of the newer daylily enthusiasts in the region, most of you have never heard of me.
I operate a small garden in central Indiana in addition to working a “full-time job on the side”, I like to say.  On occasion, I also breed
“Cavalier King Charles Spaniels”, which hold a special place in my heart, thus adding clarity to my garden name.

As many newcomers do, I am still learning and trying new methods and ideas in my program. Currently, I am dabbling in a few different areas of
interest in my hybridizing program. I expect to have more focused goals as my program continues to develop. My ultimate goal at this time is to
produce quality northern hardy, fancy edged flowers with multiple bands of color, in both pastel and dominant colors (blues, violets, and
unusual colors together with eyes, patterns, and edges are my favorites).

I do appreciate the kindness and encouragement from many of the hybridizers I have met since my involvement in daylilies.
Especially Bob Faulkner of Dayton, Ohio whose contagious passion for hybridizing is both refreshing and admirable, not to mention his faith
in a higher power that allows us to share in the joy and mystery of God's amazing ability to create, inspire, amaze and even amuse.
Here are some photos of a few of my seedlings from the past couple years. I am beginning to get some of my own seedling crosses going
and next bloom season should be very exciting.

Blessings to all!

Eric
